Privacy
CodeGlass is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.
Our goal is to provide development tools without requiring unnecessary user data.
This page explains what information may be collected and which third-party services we use.
Data Collection
CodeGlass does not collect personal information from your application or source code.
The tool analyzes runtime behavior of your application locally. Information such as function calls, allocations, exceptions, and other runtime events stays within your environment unless you explicitly choose to share it.
We do not collect telemetry about your code or application usage unless it is required for licensing, billing, or support purposes.
Licensing
CodeGlass uses LicenseSpring to manage software licensing.
LicenseSpring may collect limited information required to validate a license, such as:
- License key
- Basic system information used for license validation
- Activation and validation timestamps
This information is handled by LicenseSpring according to their privacy policy.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe.
When purchasing a license or subscription, payment information is handled directly by Stripe. CodeGlass does not store or process credit card details.
Stripe may collect information required to complete the transaction, such as billing details and payment method information.
Customer Communication
We use HubSpot to manage communication and customer interactions. This may include:
- Contact forms
- Email communication
- Support requests
Information you provide through these channels may be stored in HubSpot in order to respond to questions or manage customer relationships.
Data Minimization
We aim to collect the minimum amount of information required to operate the service. Most functionality of CodeGlass runs locally and does not require sending application data to external services.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if the services we use or the way we operate changes. Updates will be reflected on this page.
